Weekend Ways #2

30 May 2015

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you all had a fabulous bank holiday weekend (I know I'm a bit late publishing this post) - what did you get up to? My bank holiday weekend was mostly dedicated to work this time - and there was a lot of it. In the local town that I work, there was a food and drink festival held on Sunday and bank holiday Monday, and it was extremely busy! I wasn't able to enjoy walking around the festival, but I did enjoy working alongside the two lovely ladies I work with. The town was heaving, and loads of the local high street shops were busy holding there own events and promotions. We were offering a glass of prosecco and some delicious nibbles, you can never go wrong with crisps and chocolate... which we all enjoyed a lot of ourselves. It was lovely to see the event so well supported, and thankfully the weather wasn't too grotty.

The weekend started off well, with a bunch of fresh flowers. Which if you follow me on instagram/twitter (@haylvogel @hayleyvogel_) you'll know that flowers are my favourite! I love having fresh flowers in my room, it makes me happy! The weekend continued to be excellent throughout the few days with the help of many cheeky glasses of prosecco.. very delicious.

Fabulous event held in work, glass of bubbly and a lot of retail therapy - bliss.

My evenings were a little less stressful, after a long day Saturday I enjoyed having a cuppa and getting stuck in to my May 2015 edition of Elle magazine. I've only recently started buying Elle, and I'm loving it at the moment. I can see it becoming my new monthly favourite, maybe I should switch it up each month with Vogue - whats your favourite magazine?

I also managed to do a blog post for the bank holiday Monday, featuring my gorgeous L'Occitane gift box - which I'm still loving. The hand cream is just to die for!! If you're ever passing a store, don't hesitate to pop in and try out the hand cream, you will love,

Bank holiday Monday evening consisted of coming home to enjoy a gorgeous chilled glass of bubbly in my favourite Olaf tee.. Nothing better than a chilled out evening in after a long busy weekend. Not to forget Revenge and Made in Chelsea being on the telly! Which if any of you saw, were great episodes this week!!

All in all, I enjoyed my weekend, and look forward to the next one. I also managed to do a cheeky spot of online shopping, so I'll be doing a little blog about what I receive from the postman next week..

Speak soon,
H x
