Take Me To London.

9 November 2015 London, UK

The colder months are upon us, and there's no better place to visit than London for fabulous shopping, gorgeous food and wonderful sight seeing! Being so far away I don't get to visit London as much as I'd like to, and this year I have well and truly fallen in love with the city. It's such a magical place, from the designer shops to the little back street delicacies hidden away there is ALWAYS something to do in London. Whether you go for a few hours, or a few days you will never shy away from having an amazing time. I was lucky enough to go for away for a few days with my mum, boyfriend's mum and sister - and we had the best time! I stayed in the Park Plaza hotel in Westminster, overlooking the busy city. The view was beautiful! London never sleeps!

The days consisted of dining out, a glass of wine or two, shopping till we dropped and exploring the beautiful city. We found a gorgeous Italian restaurant right in the heart of Covent Garden, and we sat there most of the afternoon wine in hand watching the street entertainment eating our freshly stone baked pizza's - aahh bliss. I have to say, a lot of our dining was an Italian style, as the Park Plaza hotel has it's own Italian restaurant on site which was like heaven to my ears! For those who know me, pasta, pizza and Parmesan cheese is my FAVOURITE and I can not get enough of it. I would eat it everyday if I could.

The hotel was perfect, and right in the center of everywhere we needed to go. That's another thing I find about London, no where is too far away, everywhere is a short tube ride away. With Big Ben and the London Eye being a 5 minute walk away it was the ideal location. Breakfast was like being in heaven. They had everything you could ever want or imagine for a breakfast. They had waffles!! And waffles are the best thing EVER for me - I love waffles. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone having a short trip to London.

From Harrods to afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason, Big Ben to Knightsbridge and Leicester Square to Covent Garden London is truly fabulous.
